Operation Earnie's Plate (OEP) was founded in 2018 to honor his late parents' memory and to continue the tradition of serving others. Operation Earnie's Plate's mission is to address the growing homeless and hunger crisis in Prince George's County and the District of Columbia by providing emergency food services, supplies, and referrals to residents and families in need. OEP has built an extensive network of local churches, businesses, and social service organizations to aid him in reaching those in need. Network community members notify the Hawkins of churches like Emmanuel United Methodist Church and Transformation Christian Ministries to benefit from a partnership with OEP.
